THE SERVICES HUB GETS STRONGER: RETTAGLIATA TECH ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF NELSA’S ENERGY SERVICES BUSINESS
1350 are the plants entrusted to Rettagliata Tech.
The total amount of transferred revenues is €16 million. With this transaction, Bluenergy Group’s energetic services pole reaches a turnover of almost € 50 million.
Rettagliata Tech, a Bluenergy Group company that provides energy services in Lombardy, Piemonte, and Liguria, announces the acquisition of Nelsa’s energy services section.
Nelsa was established in 1931 to distribute and sell petroleum products, but since 1995 it has expanded its activity of business to include the provision of energy and environmental services to groups of clients in the public, private, and tertiary industries.
All the current direct and indirect operating forces will be integrated as a result of Rettagliata Tech’s acquisition of the energy sector. With the addition of 43 Nelsa employees from the Energy division who were working at the 1350 plant locations in Garbagnate Milanese, Como, and Bardello (VA), Rettagliata Tech will be able to increase the workforce permanently devoted to services and energy requalification.
The transferred revenues amounted to 16 million euros, an important doubling for Rettagliata Tech, which concluded the fiscal year 2020–2021 with a turnover of € 13.55 million, up 30% from the previous year, representing a significant doubling of its revenues. The target for the current year is to reach € 30 million. The deal raises the Bluenergy Group’s energy services hub’s annual revenue to almost € 50 million.
With this operation, Bluenergy, through its ESCo Rettagliata Tech, reaffirms its intention to grow its presence in the region and strengthen alliances with local businesses.
According to Alberta Gervasio, CEO of Bluenergy Group, “Our ESCO’s acquisition of Nelsa’s energy services sector is part of our strategy to increase our commitment to redevelopment and energy efficiency activities in the territories we control. We have in fact identified a path of diversification with respect to the core activity of selling gas and light that is focused on a business that is already born aimed at sustainability and must not be converted: energy efficiency. This is an important investment, a strong signal to the market, the sector, and users of how much for the Bluenergy Group the sustainability of its business is not only communication but is intrinsic to this activity.”
Rettagliata Tech was founded in 2018 and is the result of the union of Bluenergy Group SpA with ITE srl, a company specialized in the services of assistance and management of centralized systems, and of the takeover of Rettagliata’s services and management branches of the condominiums and private individuals. In 2020, Rettagliata Tech acquired the company CST, which conferred the management of 345 condominiums, and 70% of Gitermo srl, for a total of 129 condominiums managed. In 2021 it acquired the energy services business of Panta Distribuzione SpA, for a total of 285 condominiums under management.
